I have updated the book, since, Like Devil's Embrace, it came out a while ago and needed some tidying up. The protagonist is a victim with Stockholm Syndrome she resists the love interest for approximately a chapter before being reminded he was nice to her once a year ago, and he'd already ruined her eighteenth-century virtue, so it was fine to stop resisting and start the long, tedious, fall into weird love with a guy who professed to have developed interest in her because she looked like her mother who he had been in love with before her death.
